Winner of ACEM Intra College Cricket Tournament 072-BEX/BEL
On batting first,Bct 4 year managed to score 76 runs in 12 overs losing 8 wickets.Aakash Shah and Manoj Humagain scored 23 runs each helping BCT 4 year to put on a decent target of 77 runs.Kishor Phuyal and Suraj Saud took 3 wickets each while Sahil Subedi and Sakar Panta bowled well in the depth overs for Merge II.But,the best bowler of Merge II Nishant Ghimire went wicketless in the finale.
On chasing the target of 77 runs for victory,Salon Raj Joshi and Mahesh Timsina started off the innings for Merge II.Anish Basnet(highest wicket taker of the tournament) took the wicket of Mahesh Timsina for just 2 runs in 2nd over.Salon Raj Joshi played some fine shots scoring 28 runs from just 21 balls putting on a match winning partnership with Suraj Saud.Unluckyily,Salon got out in long off with a brillant catch from Prajwal Rawal.But,it was Suraj Saud who played a not out innings of 33 runs from just 23 balls and finishing the game with a six.
The captain of New Legacy BCT 4th Year,Dipesh Pandit showed some great fightbacks even after defending a low total.
Suraj Saud was adjusted the Man of the Match for his allround performance with bat and ball.
