The leading wicket taker for South Africa has decided to retire from Test cricket. Steyn will continue playing One Day and T20 Internationals.
Dale Steyn had made his Test debut in 2004 and is currently at 8th position in all time most wicket takers list in test matches.
“It’s terrible to consider never playing another Test again but what’s more terrifying is the thought of never playing again at all,” Steyn said.”I will be focusing on ODIs and T20s for the rest of my career to maximise my full potential and ensure my longevity in this sport.” he added.
