The 34 years old right-hand batsman Mithali Dorai Raj is former captain of the Indian Women’s cricket team. She is the second highest run scorer in women’s International cricket and only second women cricketer to surpass 5000 run mark. Mithali is nicknamed as the “Tendulkar of Indian women’s cricket”, as she is currently the all-time leading run-scorer for India in all formats, including Tests, ODIs and T20Is.
Mithali has climbed in the 2nd spot of MRF Tyre ICC ODI Rankings for Women. In 2013 Women’s World Cup, Mithali Raj starred as the number 1 cricketer in the ODI chart among women. Mithali averages 51.00 in Tests, 50.24 in ODIs and 37.95 in T20Is.
