Nepal registered its first win in ICC World Cup League 2 as Nepal defeated USA by 35 runs in their second match at TU Ground on Saturday.

Chasing a target of 191 runs to win, USA were bowled out for 155 runs. Karan KC finished with an excellent figures of 4-15 and was named Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling spell. Sushan Bhari picked up 3 wickets while Sandeep Lamichhane picked up 2 wickets while a wicket was baggedby the debutant Kushal Malla.
Earlier, USA restricted Nepal to 190 from 49.2 overs. Wicketkeeper batsman Binod Bhandari was the top scorer for Nepal with 59 runs while Kushal Malla scored a brilliant half century. Kushal has now become the youngest batsman to score a ODI fifty.
