Liam Thomas lost his leg while saving a boundary
On 24 October against Pakistan, Liam Thomas the English Cricketer lost his prothestic leg while trying to save a boundary in England Physical Disabilities T-20 match held in Dubai. Thomas said “It just happened, really….I was sprinting for the ball, put my hand out, hit the deck hard and the next thing I know I stood up and had no leg”. Liam further added “I didn’t know whether to grab the leg or get the ball in. I decided to go for the ball.”
Hats off to effort made by Liam Thomas after the disability he have. He not only saved the boundary but also ran towards the ball with one leg and throws as quickly as possible. Salute to his dedication and passion for Cricket.Here is the youtube link:
