Afghanistan defeated Nepal by 7 wickets to enter the final of ACC U19 Asia Cup. Afghanistan will face Pakistan on Sunday in the finals. Pakistan entered the finals after defeating Bangladesh by 2 runs (D/L Method) in fhe first semi final.
Nepal showed a disappointing performance with the bat in the semi final against Afghanistan as Nepal was allout for 103 runs. Afghanistan easily chased down the target of 104 runs in 21st over with 7 wickets to spare. Anil Sah was the lone warrior in the batting for Nepal as he scored 50 runs while no other batsmen could reach the double digit score.Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 71 runs for Afghanistan and guided his team to the final.
Nepal played good cricket in the group stage of the tournament. Nepal lost to Bangladesh in a close contest while defeated test nation India and Malaysia in the next matches.
Pakistan and Afghanistan will now face each other in the final of the tournament on Sunday.
