Nepal restricted Myanmar for mere 13 runs to complete a huge victory by 337 runs in their last match of the group stage in the ongoing ACC U19 Eastern Region Tournament.
Nepal put on 350 runs in the first innings with a century from the skipper Rit Gautam. Rit scored 106 runs from 78 balls and remained notout till the end. He got good support from Trit Raj Das who blasted a 29 ball 64 with 7 fours and 3 sixes. Pratis GC remained unbeaten on 31 ball 63 as Nepal reached 350 from 35 overs.
Myanmar in reply had no answer whatsoever to the Nepali bowling.Hein Htet Aung was the top scorer for Myanmar with 3 runs while extra yielded 7 runs with 6 wides and a legbye. Narayan Joshi and Bahadursen Thapa picked up 4 wickets each for Nepal to bundle out Myanmar to a low score.
