Bhutan won the toss and elected to bat firstat the Kinrara Oval, Malaysia. Nepal restricted Bhutan for just 50 runs as skipper Dipendra Singh Airee took 5 wickets and former skipeer Sandeep Lamichhane bagged 4 wickets. Dipendra and Sandeep finished with the figures of 23-5 and 7-4 respectively.
Nepal chased down the target of 51 in the 9th over losing one wicket. Sandeep Sunar was out for 26 ball 21. Asif Sheikh remained unbeaten on 23 while Anil Sah was notout on 4 runs.
