Pakistan Cricket Borad (PCB) has announced ODI squad for the series against Srilanka has been announced. Mohammad Hafeez and Junaid Khan get a place in the team while Wahab Riaz and Azhar Ali miss out in the squad.
The only newcomer in the squad is the nephew of Pakistani legend and Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq, Imam-ul-Haq, who comes in place of injured Azhar Ali.
The 4th and 5th match of the ODI series will be held at Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium, Sharjah while the other matches will be held at Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The win in the Champions Trophy final was the first occasion in eight years where the Pakistanis managed to overhaul the Indians in a major ICC event. After a long lay off, the country finally resumed competitive cricket as they hosted the World XI side in 3-match T20I series which they won by a margin of 2-1.
Pakistan and Srilanka are currently competing against each other in Test matches. Pakistan los to Srilanka by 21 runs in the first test atSheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
