Singapore Cricket Club T20 Tournament is all set to start from 11th of August at Padang Cricket Club Ground. This will be the 5th edition of the tournament.
Nepali national team captain Paras Khadka and Guiness World Record holder Meheboob Alam are participating in the tournament this time. The two Nepali players will represent Singapore Emerging Stars XIalong withShadab Jakati from India and Farvez Maharoof from Srilanka. Kowloon Cricket Club will has 7 national players from Hongkong including Babar Hayat.
Legendary Srilankan off spinner Muttiah Muralitharan will be representing Singapore Cricket Club in the tournament. Madras Cricket Club are the defending champions as they will face a tough competition from Sinhalese Sports Club which has 6 Srilankan international players in the name of Dhammika Prasad, Dasun Shanaka and Thilan Kandamby.
A total of 8 teams will be competing in the tournament that will be held from 11th August to 13th August. The participating teams are as follows:
